I found my inspiration for this piece after visiting Everglades National Park. After focusing exclusively on beach and surrealist landscapes, the Everglades reminded me that swamps were beautiful. In turn, I decided to make a piece that celebrated the natural beauty of a land often neglected. My favorite part of the piece is the grass' reflection in the water. The reflection is so simple, yet so beautiful.
