I painted this piece after deciding I wanted to replicate something beautiful. Rather than finding the beauty in a scene, I wanted the scene itself to be beautiful. In this work, I replicated that original beauty by delicately mixing and toying with colors and emotions. The tranquil scene is enough to make the viewer feel at piece, which is why I am so in love with this painting.
