In my animal collection, I try to pair animals with simple, sleek backgrounds. The reason is simple. I want the raw beauty of an animal to take center stage. Sometimes, a complicated background can overpower the piece's main focus. In this case, I wanted the leopard's beauty alone to compel a viewer to fall in love with the animal.
